Territory Economy Reconstruction Commission releases blueprint for NT coronavirus recovery
After six months of meetings in which hundreds of ideas were pitched and pondered, the Northern Territory Government has unveiled its blueprint for post-coronavirus economic recovery.
Key points:
- The taskforce was asked to help grow the NT economy to $40 billion by 2030
- One project singled out for development is the Beetaloo Basin

The Territory Economic Reconstruction Commission’s final report is a wide-ranging plan with a raft of recommendations intended to salvage an economy that was already in the doldrums before coronavirus delivered it another battering.
