Zip Co steps up credit card market plundering with tap-and-go
Anyone who has a Visa contactless card will now be able to buy now, pay later using Zip Cos new tap-and-go feature, which the company says allows it to compete with credit cards at every checkout in Australia.Zip announced the launch of Tap & Zip on Tuesday, with co-founder and chief executive Larry Diamond saying the phenomenal growth of BNPL over the past few years had been restricted by “a clunky in-store checkout experience and limited acceptance”.
