Young girl Ruby found dead in Qld property dam
The body of a young girl has been found in a dam on a property in western Queensland, hours after she was reported missing.
Two-year-old Ruby was last seen before 3.30pm on Monday afternoon on a 1500 hectare rural property in Tara, 300km west of Brisbane.
Police spent the night searching the property, with the assistance of the QPS Dog Squad, Polair, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, the SES and locals.
The girl’s body was found in a dam just after 1am on Tuesday.
