Woolworths Hamilton: ram-raid caught on video

CCTV footage has captured the moment three bandits conducted an early morning ram-raid on a Woolworths supermarket to steal thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes.
The thieves struck at 1.20am when they reversed a Volkswagen Tugan through the front entrance of a Woolworths in the upmarket inner Brisbane suburb of Hamilton, police said.
The video shows that once the vehicle smashed through the doors, two of the masked thieves charged the front counter and started ripping open locked drawers containing cartons of cigarettes.
The driver then joins his mates in ransacking and stealing drawers of cigarettes before trying to crack open the self-service checkouts.
The entire raid was captured on CCTV.
