Woman flies into Queensland on Virgin flight before testing positive

A woman from Sydney’s northern beaches flew from Sydney to Queensland before returning a positive COVID-19 test that is linked to the emerging Avalon cluster, health officials have revealed.
The patient, in her 50s, flew into Brisbane on Virgin flight VA925 landing about 9.30am on Wednesday, December 16.
She then booked a hire car and drove to Eight Mile Plains in Brisbane’s south and had lunch at the Glen Hotel at 11.30am.
