Which one of the big four has been branded Australia’s healthiest supermarket?
Woolworths has come out on top of its three biggest supermarket rivals in a report into the healthiest foods on Australian shelves.The George Institute for Global Health’s annual snapshot of packaged food found that Woolworths’ home brand had a higher overall healthiness compared with Coles, ALDI and IGA.
The report, FoodSwitch: The State of the Food Supply, ranked almost 22,000 grocery items using the Federal Government’s health star rating system.
