Coronavirus cases not falling as steeply as expected despite Victoria’s stage 4 lockdown

Victorias coronavirus numbers are not falling as steeply as expected despite Melbournes strict stage 4 lockdown being in place for two weeks. Cases have dropped in the past week from a record high of 725 on August 6, to less than 300 in recent days including 282 on Monday.
But Melbourne University epidemiologist Professor Tony Blakely told news.com.au that the numbers were not as low as hoped.
