‘VERY HIGH RATES OF VIRUS’: Major COVID alert after sewage detection in Hunter, Newcastle region of NSW – 7NEWS.com.au
Hundreds of thousands of people across multiple areas are urged to get tested as soon as possible.
NSW health authorities are very concerned after very high rates of virus detected in sewage from the Hunter, Newcastle region.
No known cases of COVID have been living in any of the areas served by the sewage plants concerned, NSW Health said in a statement.
