Urgent search for young man in southeast forest

Police are appealing to the public to help find a 21-year-old man who has been missing since 2pm today at Karawatha in Brisbane’s south.
Kassim Nasiri was last seen at the Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre at 149 Acacia Rd as part of a group.
A search and rescue helicopter was scouring the area, and police undertook extensive patrols of Karawatha forest, train stations and roads.
Police and Mr Nasiri’s family are concerned for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition, may be disorientated and unable to find his way home.
Police say Mr Nasiri is of Indian appearance, approximately 180cm tall with a slim build, dark hair, a moustache and brown eyes.
He is wearing a light blue shirt and combat pants.
