Tributes for Robert and Elizabeth Makara
The Sunshine Coast couple who were killed in an apparent murder-suicide car crash on Easter Sunday are being remembered as “well respected”.
Robert Makara, 69 and wife Elizabeth, 68, died on Sunday after a single vehicle crash on David Low Way at Pacific Paradise.
Early reports suggest their car was travelling south at 7am when it left the road and collided with a tree.
The couple were trapped inside the car for a period of time before they were able to be cut free and transported to hospital.
