Townsville man in ICU after AstraZeneca jab

A 66-year-old Townsville man is in ICU after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine, suffering blood clots believed to be linked to the inoculation.

The man’s condition has been directly linked to being vaccinated against COVID-19, said Queensland’s chief health officer Dr Jeanette Young.
