Toolbox murder accused Webbstar Latu pleads guilty to manslaughter
One of the men charged over the deaths of a Brisbane couple who were stuffed into a metal toolbox and dumped in a dam has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Webbstar Latu briefly appeared at Brisbane Supreme Court on Friday over the deaths of Cory Breton and Iuliana Triscaru in January 2016.
Latu, dressed in a white shirt, was softly spoken during his arraignment before Justice David Boddice.
He pleaded not guilty to counts of murder but guilty to two counts of manslaughter.
