Tobacco smoking down across Australia, Qld and NT higher than other states
Queenslanders and Northern Territorians continue to smoke tobacco at a higher rate than those in any other Australian state or territory, however daily smoking numbers are down nationwide.
The shock findings are included in the latest National Drug Strategy Household Survey 2019, released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare on Thursday.
