Thunder lose 4/31 to shoot themselves in the foot as Heat take charge – NEWS.com.au
The second of the BBL double header sees the Brisbane Heat take on the Sydney Thunder in Queensland.
After Khawaja went early, the Thunder were cruising at 1/77 in the ninth over but since then, the wickets have fallen quickly as the side went from looking at a 200 score to struggling.
The side lost 4/31 and it’s changed the game as Sam Billings fell for 22 having run himself out.
He knocked it down the wicket of Mujeeb Ur Rahman but it went straight back to the bowler as he inexplicably took off for a run before retreating too slowly.
Ur Rahman threw it to Jimmy Peirson who ran Billings out.
