Three officers hurt after inmate ‘kicked door’
A Brisbane prison officer has sustained a head injury and two more were hurt after two prisoners allegedly attacked them on Monday evening.
A Queensland Corrective Services spokesman alleged one officer from Brisbane Correctional Centre was “struck by a cell door kicked open by a prisoner”, resulting in a head injury.
Two other officers were allegedly injured while restraining the two prisoners inside the cell.
