The Simpsons predicted riots at the Capitol as a result of the US election
The Simpsons oracle has struck again.Fans of the long-running animated series have flocked to social media to point out that a recent episode seemingly predicted yesterday’s far-right Capitol Hill riots, sharing stills from the show likened to the group of Trump supporters who stormed the Capitol building, resulting in four deaths.
It is by no means the first time the series’ prophetic writing has been brought to light.
