The Australian census is looking for 20,000 jobs for field officer roles
There are 20,000 jobs available across the country for census field officers as the Australian Bureau of Statistics recruits to help deliver the nationwide survey, which kicks off in August.The job will earn someone $24.80 an hour, including 25 per cent loading, plus superannuation and starts from July.
The ABS is looking for locals who are familiar with an area, with field officers responsible for delivering census instructions and forms and by visiting households that have not yet responded.
