Tennessee man finds winning $1m lotto ticket after losing it
After losing his ticket, a Tennessee man who won big on the state lottery nearly missed his chance of claiming the more than $1 million prize only to find it on the ground of a car park. Nick Slatten, who purchased the ticket on March 10 after a day at work laying tiles, checked the Tennessee Lottery app 24 hours later to find that it was worth $US1,178,746.
“I was stunned. I couldn’t believe it,” he said in a press release from the Tennessee Lottery.
“I can’t express it. It was something else.”
