Teenage boy’s feet ‘turn to stone’ after bubble tea addiction
A teenage boy has been hospitalised after he suffered a severe reaction from drinking too much bubble tea.
The unnamed 18-year-old, who is from the city of Foshan in China’s southern province of Guangdong, was taken to a nearby hospital after developing pain and serious inflammation in the joints of his hands and feet, Southern Metropolis Daily reported.
The teen admitted to drinking at least one cup of the high-sugar, high-calorie drink a day before being treated by doctors for gout symptoms …
