Teen hit by truck after allegedly driving stolen car

A teenage boy who is alleged to have run from a crash involving a stolen vehicle has been struck by a passing truck on the Gold Coast.
The 16-year-old is alleged to have been behind the wheel of a Renault van that was believed to have been stolen overnight from a residence in Robina.
Just after midday, the Renault was involved in a minor two-car collision on Andrew Avenue, Broadbeach Waters police allege.
