Teen girl allegedly shot by crossbow outside Aldi in Ipswich
A man is in police custody after he allegedly injured a teenage girl with a crossbow in Ipswich.
Queensland Police say the man was found armed inside an Aldi supermarket in Booval after he was spotted discharging arrows while walking down South Station Road around 4.30pm this afternoon.
“He started firing and I believe members of the public have tackled that person but I can’t confirm that at this stage,” Inspector Scott Calcutt told The Courier Mail.
