Support your local community by hosting a local legends lunch
It has been a tough year for many of us but, with summer about to start, the nation’s army of small operators are asking everyone to support their local businesses by hosting a lunch next weekend.
The Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia wants everyone to join with family or friends for a picnic or get together at home and take advantage of great suppliers in your area, chairman Mark McKenzie said.
“Pick up chips, ice, lollies and a gas bottle from the servo, sausages from a locally owned butcher, and the beers or wine from a small local producer,” Mr McKenzie said.
