Sunshine State Health Minister Yvette D’Ath tested for coronavirus
Queensland Health Minister Yvette D‘Ath is in isolation after being tested for COVID-19 amid a concerning outbreak in Brisbane.
The senior state government cabinet member did not attend the crucial coronavirus update on Wednesday morning, with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk revealing her colleague was ill.
“The Health Minister contacted me this morning to say she has a sore throat so she has gone to get a COVID test,” Ms Palaszczuk told reporters on Wednesday.
