Stunning image of black hole reveals mysterious jets ‘blowing matter thousands of light years into space’
A new image of a black hole has been unveiled, revealing the vortex of magnetic chaos surrounding it.The snap released by scientists this week gives a closer look at how the supermassive M87 black hole interacts with the matter surrounding it.
It‘s the sharpest image yet of the cosmic monster, which lies at the centre of the M87 galaxy some 55 million light years from Earth.
