Steven Miles says GPS trackers considered in youth justice
The Queensland government will consider strapping GPS monitoring devices to juvenile offenders out on bail as discussion amps up about the state’s youth justice system.
Acting Premier Steven Miles told reporters on Wednesday a number of options were “on the table” as the government looks at improving the system, but that if research shows trackers will prove useful, he will “support it.”
