Star Reds recruit Suliasi Vunivalu has been stood down after an incident in January

Star Queensland Reds recruit Suliasi Vunivalu has been sensationally stood down from Fridays season opening Super Rugby AU match and fined $10,000 after allegedly pushing a security guard. Vunivalu, has been charged over the incident which happened on January 30.
The club said the 25-year-old Fijian had brought “the club and the game into disrepute” and he would not be available for Friday’s clash with the NSW Waratahs.
