A former World Health Organisation epidemiologist says Australias borders should be shut until at-risk people are vaccinated.
University of South Australia biostatistics Professor Adrian Esterman says preventing overseas travel to Australia will also prevent coronavirus spreading.
“Our only source now of infections are those coming back from overseas so if we stop overseas travel there’ll be no infections,” he told radio 3AW’s breakfast program.
