This morning I opened my son’s bedroom door and casually asked him “What’s with the sad face”?
He shocked me when he replied: “Mum, do you think there’s a chance we’ll ever see Dad again?”
We’re a transnational family and everyone but me is a dual PNG-Australian citizen.
Our plan for 2020 involved me living in Australia with our high-school aged sons while my husband, Owen, was in PNG for work.
But COVID-19 means we haven’t seen him for six months with no idea when that will change.
