Queensland government releases economic outlook post-COVID
The number of Queenslanders without a job is expected to remain at unprecedented levels well into 2021, according to the latest economic forecasting.
The state government released its COVID-19 Fiscal and Economic Review on Monday, eight weeks out from the election.
Unemployment is predicted to peak at nine per cent in the December 2020 quarter, only marginally falling to eight per cent by the June 2021 quarter.
