Qld records one new COVID-19 case amid record tests

A border resident has been found more than 1000 kilometres away from the strict border bubble, after Mackay police carried out a routine RBT.
The 50-year-old woman was fined in the latest string of “extremely disappointing” behaviour punished by Queensland’s police.
Deputy Police Commissioner said the ‘X-Pass’ holder had travelled from Tweed Heads to Mackay before she was intercepted on Monday night for an RBT, and had since been fined and placed into quarantine.
