Qld rapist Algana Tiers returned to jail due to alcohol problem
A Queensland rapist branded as a serious danger to the community is back behind bars after breaching his supervised release order.
Algana Tiers has been on supervision orders imposed by the court for the historic violent rape of a young girl but has consistently flaunted his conditions while at large.
He is now subject to an indefinite detention order after allegedly consuming alcohol – in breach of his supervision order imposed earlier this year – and becoming involved in a fight.
