Qld Nurses and Midwives Union takes Qld Health to Industrial Relations Commission over COVID-19 PPE fears

A Queensland union acting on behalf of the state’s nurses has taken the health department to the Industrial Relations Commission over concerns frontline staff are at risk of contracting COVID-19 due to ill-fitting personal protective equipment.
The Queensland Nurses and Midwives Union said it still had no assurances from Queensland Health that proper fit testing and checking of PPE is being effectively carried out across the state’s public health system.
