Qld lifts lockdown of hospitals, aged care facilities, disability homes and correctional centres
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Friday confirmed the lockdown of hospitals and aged care facilities would be lifted as the fear of a coronavirus case in the community finally faded.
The restrictions were imposed last week when a doctor from the Princess Alexandra Hospital tested positive to COVID-19 after coming into contact with infected returning overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.
“As of noon today, all restrictions on hospitals, aged care and disability services are lifted,” the premier told reporters.
