Qld jail lockdown after positive COVID-19 case
All Queensland correctional facilities are in lockdown after a prison officer tested positive for COVID-19.
It’s understood the officer returned a positive test yesterday, and could have been contagious while at the Queensland Corrective Services Academy last Friday.
Queensland Health is yet to confirm whether the latest case was in addition to the one case recorded in the state yesterday, which took the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre cluster to 11 people.
