Qld Health, BOM among Facebook pages shutdown

Queensland Health’s Facebook page has been restored after being offline for hours as part of the social media giant’s ban on Australian news sites.
It follows urgent lobbying by public servants within Queensland’s Department of Premier and Cabinet for Facebook to reinstate the Queensland Health social media page.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk this morning urged Prime Minister Scott Morrison to find a solution to the problem.
