Pub manager can’t fill vacant jobs due to JobSeeker payments

Given the current unemployment rate, a Perth pub manager is perplexed at the lack of applications hes receiving for six vacancies he has and claims its because government handouts are too high. Max Fox-Andrews, the manager of the Windsor Hotel in South Perth, is struggling to fill the bartending, waitressing and chef roles because he says people would rather receive the $1100-a-fortnight JobSeeker payments than get a job.
