Protesters working to free Brisbane refugees target city fountain

The water of a landmark Brisbane city fountain has been dyed red and its base graffitied with pro-refugee sentiments in an early morning incident claiming to be the work of protesters.
Pictures posted on Facebook group ‘Whistleblowers, Activists and Communities Alliance’ on Monday of the water feature, at Brisbane’s Riverside, running red water with messages including ‘government sanctioned torture and murder’, and ‘free all refugees’ written on the base.
