Police check 200 pubs, clubs on first night of ‘no standing’ rules
Police will randomly inspect pubs, clubs and bars across Queensland on Saturday night as venues readjust to the latest round of coronavirus restrictions.It comes as the State’s Chief Health Officer Jeanette Young announced that patrons would not be allowed to stand in licensed venues.
Queensland Police took swift action, conducting more than 200 compliance checks at licensed venues across the state on Friday night.
