Police investigating after Norman Gardens man stabbed in chest

Police are investigating a “sudden death” in central Queensland after a man was stabbed in the chest.
Investigations have begun into the 51-year-old man’s death after emergency services were called to a suburban Rockhampton house on Monday about midday following reports of an assault.
Police found the man had sustained a single stab wound to his chest, and despite being transported to hospital, he later died.
A 48-year-old woman, also from Norman Gardens, Rockhampton, is “assisting police with their inquiries”.
