Police charge former NAB employee over alleged fraud worth millions

A former National Australia Bank employee has allegedly been embroiled in a criminal syndicate that tried to defraud the major financial institution of more than $21 million. NSW Police have arrested and charged a 38-year-old Sydney woman for her alleged involvement in attempting to launder $21.6 million from NAB through a fraudulent deposit scheme.
Police allege the syndicate was using fraudulent bank deposit guarantees to purchase properties across the state for an inflated commission.
