Notorious conman Peter Foster has been arrested on a Queensland beach

Peter Foster, the man dubbed Australias greatest conman, has been arrested on fraud charges in far north Queensland. The 57-year-old was arrested on a Port Douglas beach on Thursday morning following an investigation by New South Wales fraud squad detectives.
Three plain-clothed officers arrested Foster as he was walking his two dogs along Seven Mile Beach shortly before 8am today.
