Paul Pisasale pleads guilty to corruption, sexual assault
Disgraced former Ipswich mayor Paul Pisasale has pleaded guilty to a raft of criminal charges, including sexual assault and corruption, committed during his time as mayor.
A packed public gallery filled Ipswich District Court on Thursday as Pisasale, 69, sat quietly in the dock with his head down.
Pisasale entered pleas of guilty to two counts of sexual assault and one count each of official corruption, disobedience of statute law and possessing a restricted drug.
