Panic buying hits the UK as coronavirus infections skyrocket

UK supermarkets are reintroducing buying limits on products to stem a potential wave of panic buying as cases start to rise againOn Friday a national survey carried out by the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed there were an estimated there were 9,600 new cases a day in England in the week to 19 September – triple what was being picked up by tests.
