NSW couple cop fine over incorrect Qld border form

A NSW couple has been fined more than $8000 and forced to pay for two weeks of hotel quarantine after they illegally entered Queensland.
The 50-year-old woman and 56-year-old man from Banora Point travelled over the border on August 13.
Police claim they provided incorrect information on their border declaration forms, which allowed them to enter the sunshine state.
