NRL news: John Hopoate blasts Manly Sea Eagles after son’s snub

NRL premiership player John Hopoate has blasted the Manly Sea Eagles for their management of his son, Albert Hopoate.Despite Manly’s substantial injury list, the 19-year-old Hopoate is yet to make his NRL debut. When superstar fullback Tom Trbojevic suffered a hamstring injury in July, the Sea Eagles gave Brendan Elliott and Reuben Garrick a chance in the No. 1 jersey instead, leaving Hopoate on the sidelines.
