No new cases in Qld as the state records a testing milestone

Queensland has passed a COVID-19 testing milestone as the state avoided any new cases on Thursday.
Confirming the news via Twitter, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said 1,001,084 COVID-19 tests had now been carried out around the state since the onset of the pandemic.
Nine cases were confirmed in the state on Wednesday, including an entire family of five linked to the Queensland Corrective Services Academy and a year 11 student from St Edmund’s College at Ipswich.
