NBA 2020: Zion Williamson suddenly leaves bubble, return unknown
There are bigger things than basketball at stake but the NBA was rocked by Zion Williamsons sudden departure from the Orlando bubble on Friday.The No. 1 draft pick had to attend to an urgent family matter but intends to rejoin his New Orleans Pelicans teammates for the NBA restart at “a later date”, his team announced.
The 20-year-old has quickly become one of the biggest draws in the NBA despite only playing part of his rookie season because of injury.
