NASA promises ‘exciting discovery’ on moon for Artemis program

American space agency NASA has teased a big announcement about the moon for next week with potential plans to build a base on the lunar surface.The “exciting new discovery” comes from the Stratospheric Observatory for Infra-red Astronomy (SOFIA): A Boeing 747 that’s been modified to carry a 2.7 metre infra-red telescope.
