Missing man’s ute found in flood waters

The search for a man reported missing on the Gold Coast has intensified with a swiftwater rescue team now scouting a Gold Coast creek after his ute was found upside down and submerged in flood waters.
David Hornman, 38, was reported missing on Tuesday as the rain pelted the Gold Coast.
However, the search for Mr Hornman has now centred on where his ute was discovered upside down in Canungra Creek, about 25 km west of Surfers Paradise.
