Missing fisherman’s boat found capsized

A grim find has been made in the desperate search for a missing fisherman last seen setting off on a short trip in North Queensland.
The 69-year-old man set-off about 3pm from Gayundah Creek on Thursday and was expected only to be an hour, police said.
The man’s wife contacted police when he failed to return and all efforts to contact him via radio have been unsuccessful.
His two-metre boat was located around 2.30am on Friday.
